As usual i'm a few days late in posting this, but i must, must, must point out the brilliance of channel 4's Iraq Commission. Public service oriented, completely fascinating and serious. No flashy graphics, no dumbed-down narrative, just smart people talking about an important and complex issue. Check the website for a wealth of material on the issues and the final report.

of sorts

whoa, super busy this last month or four, photography is blooming, science is blooming, blog is pretty dead... not sure if there's a correlation here, probably just the fact that there are only so many hours in the day and i must spend at least a few of them pottering and reading and doing nothing much. i have seen some good and some bad of late, but who really cares, all your should look at right now is lucy's new etsy store at EthelandIris.etsy.com; only one item so far, but it's a beauty.
