lots and lots to see and do, not much to say

woah there, september already! time slips. here i am starting to sound old, but it's soooo true what adults used to say to me as a kid... time does speed up, no longer the endless summer afternoons where i could play a computer game for 5 hours and still have time to play outside and eat dinner and read a book and watch telly, how did that work?

but i have been a busy boy, fitted in some quality phd time (when i say 'fitted in' i mean that i go to work everyday, study = work + satisfaction, as opposed to previous job = work + toil + nothing), a trip to estonia and finland (yes and YES), lots of walking and outsideness in the late august sunshine, gardening (by which i actually mean clearing nettles, brambles and rubble), watching the sunset in the rain, xorbing, monkey forest (YESx2), stoke, not replying to emails... well, lots of stuff.

on the creative front there are some exciting developments, i'm working on a photo/music collaboration with my brother, an album cover for bob, a website for becky and some of my own stuff too. naturally none of these are finished yet!

Glad to see you made it through your Xorbing alive.

And I am a huge proponent of the flying spaghetti monster theory. Almost makes me want to be a pirate. Almost.

And reading your blog, I figured you'd be interested in advancing your life a bit...
